October 26, 2008 is

World Zombie Day

There will be a Zombie Walk on this day.

We will meet at 3:00 pm at the Westridge parking lot on the UAF campus, right at the top of the hill. After a few quick comments we will infest the UAF campus with zombies by walking down the hill, through any buildings we can get into, through the parking lot os the Student Apartment Complex then to the dorms. From there we will walk down to the Wood center Ballroom for a free showing of the 1968 zombie classic Night of The Living Dead! This is Romero's classic take on the the zombie phenomonon that staret the whole brain eating hell is full senario.

This event is part of the GLOBAL World Zombie Day. We will be joining over 50 cities across the world in marching to fight world hunger and maybe set a Guniess World Record for most zombies around the world. We are the world's farthest north zombie walk!

It is also a benifit to end world hunger- so bring a couple cans of food to donate, or we can accept monetary donations in the form of checks made out to one of our charities.
